Somewhere around Swindon

Looks better without the wheelie bin bonnet, and think it will be to much of a handfull to be really fast

I think that the first time it went black it looked the best

Original

then.......

Changed to rotary and wheelie bin bonnet

Now

I like the kit on it but i hate the rear arches, if he could get the engine in without a maswive bonnet scoop it would look amazing. Fair play for the work involved and i bet its bloody quick but bulging engine and crappy rear arches let it down imo

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

I really like it now, but can't help thinking it would look better if it had a clubman front.

I thought that reg rung a bell. I remember seeing pics of it in mini mag from avon park (in yellow form). Think it was the car that started my interest in turbominis.

if the engine would go under a standard (or slightly bulged) bonnect, without the silly spolier/arches/bodykit that would be awesome

Why do it to this car? I'm sure it would have been more cost effective to sell up and start again.

It's a shame, but it is very different I suppose. Are there any vids of it running?

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Wonder what happened to the rocker cover catch tank (think it was a catch tank). Always loved that touch in your engine bay.

The catch tank made from an MG Metro finned aluminium rocker cover was sold to a chap who fitted it to a really nice GTM that was a Car and Car Conversions car back in the day, he restored it back to it former glory and he still has it now as far as I know.
