hi people ive been reading up on the K series BMW head conversion and thought id look at a different one, see what else fits. ive come across this.... any thoughts as to whether it would be ok?? the valves in the corner are quite close to the walls.

If dry deck just use a bk450(turbo head gasket as some call it) jimster used this to 259bhp iirc same as what i plan to use also cheaper than the sc one as thats like £150 for it and the bk is £15 max

edit, used the search function *happy*

wont be dry decking, will drill holes and keep it like normal. so i cant cut the holes out in a gasket for them?!

CBR600 :)

GSXR600 is very similar and would be about the same, also looked into a zx6r head which also might work. looks like most 600cc bike heads are similar. 750cc have larger bores but its the spacing that messes it up.

thinking about that head gasket, im gonna need to cut holes in it for water, oil and the bolts..... its gonna be like cheese by the time im finished!! im tempted to question the strength of the gasket with so many holes....

CBR900 has 70mm bore but the spacing is different to a mini. BUT its the same size for the bolts (to use on a 600 head).... could i use one of them and dremel away at the top of the bore where the gasket O is so it lines up with the block?!
