Hi I can't choose a system for my engine which wil be a 1430 with 296sp cam +weber 45 which I'm hoping to get atleast 100 at the wheels from, then when I upgrade the med rally head, hopefully a lot more. I currently have a 1.75id minisport superflow exhaust, would ideally keep this but if it will restrict the engine then I'll get a better one.

I did wonder if it was simiar to the big bore maniflow, they have the same bore sizes I think philc, what spec engine was that from? Only realy need to know cam, carb, head, capaicty and and what power did it make? And I found some videos of your mini rich, seen your dyno video before didn't realise it was yours |

maniflow, 3into 2 into one and then i would go for the 2" single back box play mini, ...... flows "very well" with no restriction for a N/A engine and a great! sound Edited by BENROSS on 14th Feb, 2011.

I was running a 3 into 1 on my 1430cc stroker, but am considering fitting a LCB now with the new alloy 7 port head but don't want to loose mid range torque (this is NOT an 8,000 rpm racer). Any thoughts? On 24th Dec, 2008 Nic said:

Cheers all, difficult choice now lol, in vizards there doesn't seem to be much differnce between them above 3k rpm, seems the 3 into 1 is better below 3k by up to 10 lb/ft, I receon I probably wouldn't notice much differnce but this is a totally differnt engine to mine. |

I didn't think the Specialist Components Manifold was Big Bore, like the Big Bore Maniflow LCB at 300+ notes?

Considering the success people have in competition use with maniflow over the years I wouldn't bother with any other company.

The welds were pretty crap and it didn't seal paticularly well. ETA it was overpriced too On 15th Feb, 2011 rosco454 said: On 14th Feb, 2011 1380rich said:

The big bore maniflow lcb I'm thinking of is 2" OD 1.875" ID on the outlet, the SC manifold just says 1.875" outlet which I'd be suprised if it wasn't the ID. Not sure what the actual sizes are on the branches. |
