so ive had my mini just under a year i got it from lewis

anywho this is how i got it



then i did a few bits




now its like this lol



and now ive got me a turbo engine








all i can tell from the engin is its has double valve springs and the gay had it with a fmic whitch i dont have
and i cannot get the head off to see it

aww, look at the pretty pink engine :)

lol does look little pink, u going for a girly turbo matt? look at my poor old mini! uve treated oscar badly! he looks malnourised! u should be ashamed of yourself, look after him properly or ill contact mini social services lol

lol well im fixing it god damn it lol and its not bloody pink its bloody red

so what is the plan?

to build a girly turbo lol i think matts gonna go for a handbag and ear rings to match his pink engine oooohhh suits you sir! lol

Haha, engine is out. Matt and I lifted it out.
Subframes out so it's now looking like a rickshaw.
If all else fails Matt; pull it down the strip.

lol plan is rebuild the engine and see what its like and maybe change a few things i dont know yet
the car needs a spray and a clean up
i would like to make the engine 120/130 hp but we will see

just a lil update today
took the head off the metro turbo engine hopeing to find some yummy pistons or something (lol)
looks like a normal 1275 with normal turbo dish
the only thing on them is a stamp A i take its thats cos its an A engine? i dunno im a dumb ass lol

the block has A on it aswell

other then that im sanding the car down bit by bit but no pics yet

A relates to the bore size.

Metro turbo pistons are tough old boots, so If there in good nick count yourself lucky.

they look good and no scoreing nither
the valves need a clean they have like 2mm of crap on them

Thats why I asked, I thought different suppliers had different names for them ha ha. Huddersfield minispares missed out on loads of money from me today because they had hardly anything i wanted in stock... oh well, someone else will benifit
