Take it you done a compression test, best work out compression ratio and go for something thats safe for the boost you want to run -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

Ah read through it half squinting and tilting my head his problem is that he has been running 13psi on a standard engine im geussing without an intercooler and his headgasket has gone.

With the head off you can check the combustion chamber volume and also get an idea of piston dish, compression height and bore size. That would get enough info for a compression ratio calculation. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

You really want the intercooler in a postion where it will have cold air flowing through it. It sounds to me like you have hot air from the radiator blowing over the intercooler, this will defeat the object of actually having one. "So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"
