the needle i was using was a BFA but I am using a BCA to try and richen up the fuel.

Try some thinner oil the needle may not be able to lift and lower quick enough with gear oil in there! |

This is pretty typicay and can only be reduced and not overcome. Stick wit hthe oil you have and look at re-profiling the needle.

Thanks for the help so far, will stick with the oil for now and do some re-profiling with the needle and see what that does to the A/F ;0)

New pipe, with non thread block off in each end, did look into the possibility of split hoses, so replaced them with new just to be on the safe side. |

I only say change the oil as it sounds like the needle is playing catch up under acceleration. Generally if it goes lean on boost it will stay lean until the needle has been reprofiled.
