Oil pump or bearing failure potentially, either way, having run the engine with no oil pressure for any length of time there's a good chance that some bearing damage will have been caused now. |

I've had the little ballbearing valve in the oil filter housing stick open and cause a loss of pressure. worth a check. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

Could be as simple as a damaged oil pump gasket. If everything has been checked and a decent gauge varyfies no oil pressure, its time to start taking the engine apart to look for the cause On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I'll say it again incase no-one heard. It has the same effect as the PRV on oil pressure.

Is that no just a bypass vale though will? where does the oil go for it to loose pressure? On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
