I use U-pol stuff from the local paint supplier - not sure exactly which one but I know i've got a separate stopper |

I've used U-pol in the past and had no problems - at the moment i tend to stick to using "Ultra Smart 2k", which is made by Tetrosyl. For a stopper i use a Max meyer single pack stopper - i've never really heard of a combined product to be honest - always thought a body filler should be a 2 pack product that you mix to suit - and the stopper was a single pack.....

Use upol easysand at work and on little bitts on the car. Great finish with it and it's a good consistency to apply easily when fresh. On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:

I think I worded my first post badly, the fantasic stuff you mix with a hardener but its fine enough not to need a stopper afterwards apparently.

I use Upol fantastic and it does what it says on the tin. No issues with it at all. |

Upol Easysand any day.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

Fibreglass/filler is notorious for leaving pinholes which are not the most noticeable - once you've cleaned and sprayed a layer of primer, you're usually left with a few dents/pinholes/scratches that you didn't notice before - Stopper is a single pack fine filler (No mixing), drys in a couple of mins and quickly and easily fills these before & after primer.... |
