just wondering if anyone has a drawing of a waterpump and its fixings as i have found a company who can laser cut me a plate with the hole from a drawing.

was just going to have it out of around 3mm stainless plate unless they can out of some thicker ally plate... would that be ok in stainless?

cheers.

it will be similar to yours, glad i know not to use the ally now :). what thicknes is your stainless simon.. i was opting for 3mm but im not sure if it will be ok.

if i got one made and it looked ok would anyone else be interested in one?

was going to make the centre hole the aporpriate size to match the pipe on the cinq rad i have.

ah... how did yours snap simon? from the nippon? do you think it would be alright with the long bolt and spacer?

Yes it was the alt i think it was the rose joints i was using to push it out and the bottom as there was two much flex in it.

i can imagine tho with the big bolt on through the left hand bracket and a suitable spacer in the middle this may be strenghtened/ more stabilised? i was going to copy your rosejoint idea if u dont mind.

what thickness is you current stainless one as i think thats the better idea at the moment.

I will NOT be using the rosejoints again! As the alt moves to much with them. When i went back to the old oe one it was fine.

so up to you! but sat on the side of the M25 in the rain was not fun.
