Whats that black sandpaper style grippy stuff called that you stick to metal stairs to help stop you slipping on them?

not cheap; you might want to consider one of the epoxy non-slip treatments

skateboard grip tape certainly doesnt come in 2.5 meter lengths you should be able to get a few rolls, slit and join if you cant find it anywhere else. rolls are generaly about £5 a roll so if you have quite alot of stairs to do, will cost a fair whack

I don't know where you buy your grip, but it does generally come off a 25m roll *wink*

wolfie, speak to any decent skate shop. You should be able to get the length you want in one piece, but do expect to pay for it. In general, any sort of grip tape is not cheap.

Edit* And don't forget to ask for Jessup grip *wink*

Seriously, search on Ebay for griptape, you can buy it in packing tape size rolls or wider/longer.

If its for a skateboard, it will be sticky backed, but, at that price, I would be dubious about the quality and durability. I have gripped a fair few boards in my life and you soon get to know that you get what you pay for.

Check out the price of the 3M grip tape products to give you an idea on how much this stuff really costs.
