Going to go to a breakers as I need an mpi pump for my project as I'm looking to run around 18-20 psi, will It fit straight into my spi tank with no mods? Or should I just get an even better one Honda etc?

Not quite. The MPi tank is baffled and has loads of insulation type stuff on it.

Is the mpi tank heavier with the baffles? How much boost is safe to run with an spi pump?

Spi pump runs to about 1.2-1.5 bar so unto just below a bar of boost. I'm fitting a ford puma fuel pump into my spi tank which is good for 6 bar of pressure - you can run what ever boost you like then. Just be sure all the fuel hose connections are good and tight !!

no no no no, you need more boost! you can never ever come on here and say I have enough boost, that's just silly.

I would run no more than 10psi with the spi pump tbh.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

loads. It will run a 3.5 bar fuel injection setup so should be fine for 45 psi of boost if my maths is good.

I haven't really worked out how to do eBay links on iPhone. But here is the item number - 160516793803 -
I asked what pressure and he said he doesn't know but said it will be equal to the mpi pump. Does £55 sound ok?

Sounds good but I'm just going to get an mpi pump from a breaker will be alot cheaper and is proven. Cheers for the heads up tho :)

There's a few people breaking minis on tmf I'll drop by them first, and after that I'll just hold out for one checking in different scrappies and breakers. Worst comes to worse I'll have to run low boost for a lol bit, doubt itl be a problem tho the amount I've got left to do before my cars running is long enough to source one :)
