well the ph2 was not designed for 1.5 rockers and i ran some 1.5's with an mg cam and drivability was horrible, took them off and was much better

sell them and get some 1.3's imo

You don't build an engine around your rockers. You fit 1,5 rockers if these suit the rest of the build.

As it happens I tried the 1.5s with the PH2 and it was useless. But I use them with the MG cam and it's ace.

This only goes to prove that every build is different.

1.5s are a bit of a love-hate thing. I'm in the love cam, always given more power i my engines.

So use them with the MG cam.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

go for the phase 2 timed in @ 107 deg and use 1.3 roller rockers, minisport do some decent ones for a good price which have been tried and tested

every engine is diffrent but ............ thats my thought for a weekend warrior

will your diff drops etc clutch stand the extra your going to put through it ?

Our metro van has standard turbo pistons, well ported head, n/a mg cam, T3 on a ported manifold. Made 153BHP on about 14-15psi. We're using cooper style pressed rockers.

nope, 1.2 something, just a bit more than standard ones. What was available on a limited budget. If funds stretched to it, I would put 1.3 rollers on it. It will be getting a AB phase 2 cam in the near future.
