As per the title I am listing this for a good friend of mine at work. He is soon changing for something newer and bigger, this is up for grabs as otherwise the dealers will offer him peanuts, I reckon it could make someone a decent towcar.

SO,
Vauxhall Vectra estate, 2001 Y reg 2.2 16v petrol SRI 150.
Dark metallic blue, all usual toys, 1/2 leather trim, towbar fitted. Air con is u/s as the pipe is fractured (apparently common?) but otherwise everything works as it should.
Tested till I believe April, I did some work on it last year for test, can see no reason for it not to go straight through this time.
Recent work including, top end rebuild and new timing chain just over 2 years ago. In the last 12 months, discs and pads all round, exhaust box, battery, 3 new tyres.
Has covered approx 108k miles, mature owner at present, would make a cracking tow bus as it's got loads of grunt.
Bad points, it has been smoked in and carried dogs in boot, nothing a good valet would not sort, and it has a slight oil leak, just a small drip after a run.

Looking for £750ono

Vegard, he is wanting to shift it fairly soon, however if you wanted it and could come up with a decent part of the cash I am sure we could stash it in the corner of the car park at work for a month or so.

The Vectra will be broken for spares, but hasn't yet. I found the sticker suiteable in the GT. No idea what it means though, although I though I spotted, dog, duck and pheasant???

BASC is actually a shooting association! Probably not quite what you thought!

That would be the conservation of the Great British countryside.

I've spent most of today in a hedge, sorting it out.
