Please can someone give me a steer on how I should plumb in the cooling pipes. I already have the hole on top of the clyinder head at no4 clyinder where normally I have seen heating valves bolted on to.

So, first what sort of heating controller should I use, bolted on top of the cylinder head or in line?

Does the plumbing for the heating go Clyinder head no4 - inlet manifold - inlet manifold heater - heater to hose that connects water pump to radiator.

Do you need to plumb in the manifold or bypass it?

In the thermostat housing do I use the middle sandwich plate and bung up the old expension pipe.

Cheers, tried haynes manual but waste of time, could find a diagram anywhere

No need to plumb the manifold just cut the pipes off it. But you've lost me on the rest.

As above, don't bother with the manifold. It should go...

Head - heater - rad bottom hose

In the 13's at last!.. Just
