Unfortunately the time has come to pass on my project to someone else, I haven't the time or the money to do it justice at the moment and need to free up a little cash to get myself a car that is actually roadworthy!

The shell itself is as close as I could get to a heritage item. It had been dry stored as a bare shell for years and had no rust whatsoever (bar a few tiny patches of surface browning) No holes anywhere, no rot to be seen and all original panels (apart from the front valance but I had plans for that!)
A perfect start to my project as I didn't want to spend ages replacing panels.

I then had Mintec Mini Spares tub and turret the rear arches for me, something they had done several times before including on "Prawns" car so I knew it was in good hands. They did a lovely job as can be seen from the pictures.

Once I got the car back to my dad's workshop I began working on the car with the vision of turning it into a Miglia inspired track and fast road car.

The front was removed as I had plans for a Curley removable front.

Then I set upon the interior and removed all of the weighty sound proofing.

I then took my mission of weight loss a little further removing the lower dash rail (as it was going to be replaced with a weld in cage).

Removed the door bins and shortened the seat squab.

After seeing a load of the Miglias at Castle Combe I relieved the shell of some more weight.

This is now how the shell stands.

It comes with door frames but they aren't brilliant and also front and rear subframes with radius arms etc.

The shell is located at my dad's workshop in Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset and all viewings are more than welcome.

As I said earlier I don't see me finishing the car in the foreseable future so it has to go.
It has had a lot of time and effort put into it and will make for a stress free start to your project.

I am looking for around £600 ono.

Also willing to do a p/x or swap for a VW Polo 6n (preferably 1.4L) on the offchance.

PM me if interested or you can contact me on: 07841463442.

If only I had somewhere to put it, I'd snap it up.

What a tidy shell this is, would save me a lot of hassel with the one i have, sadly i've not got the space for it either. But all the best with the sale.
