I am completely clueless when it comes to gearbox, final drive ratio's not to mention different ratio drops and wheel sizes as well.

I currently run 12 inch wheels, standard helical box and i asuume a metty turbo FD (diff).

I WANT 10's REALLY REALLY BADLY!!

How is this going to be with a s/c box standard ratio and 1 to 1 drops? What final drive ratio would be good?

What about the much talked about challenge gear set?

My gear box has to be tough as i have/getting serious power (when i get my bottom end sorted i want to be attemting 170bhp+

Its a road car btw.

Any ideas or advice? *evil*

Links dead mate.

Its a road car, with freqent track days and strip races.

I have decided against the 10 inch wheels again - someoen offered me a cheap cooper s disk brake set up, i will stick to my wide 12's - that way i can use my metty 4 pots and vented disks. Better safe than sorry even if i cant have great little 10's *crying*
