Hi,

Just a quick question, is it okay to run a fuel/brake line "under" the rear subframe instead of up and over as it would have been originally? Protecting it with a rubber line over it where its going "under" the frame?

Cheers

I wouldnt like to personally just in case the worst should happen on an awkward speed bump or a clemmy in the road etc. Also if theres any chaffing due to hoses/lines moving slightly then I wouldnt think it would take long to rub through the rubber.Tucking everything up out of the way as much as possible would be my advice.

Cheers Ross.

I've had to replace rotten lines in the past and have run them below the frame - while its not ideal, its no lower down than running along the floor. I always find if i've got any damage its at the front floor pan area where the pipes get hit

Its what I was thinking too Rob, I'd love to run it up and over the frame but theres not much space to feed the pipe through and its awkward with only axle stands.

Thanks for the advice
