Does anyone know any good stuff? i was thinking maybe ceramic coating or something.

which side you wanting to paint? where i used to work, we used to just spray the inlet side and centre with normal 2 pack. The turbos we had back even after time hadnt discoloured. They were painted a nato green so would notice the colour change too David. |

Hmm, was thinking both sides, exhaust and intake side. i read about some vht firepproof paint i think it was, was supposed to withstand 1100 degree's. but some people had it flakening.

hehe, its mostly for keeping rust away, and keeping underbonnet temperature :) |

There is no chance of any paint surviving the hot side.

I dont think painting it will make any difference to under bonnet temps. What about one of those heatproof turbo cosy things?

The new ceramic paint is supposed to insane when it comes to thermal barrier, reducing temperature by up to 30% atleast i have heard.
