the gallery is about 10-12 mm diameter, it runs the full width of the block, its fairly easy to gauge it with a cordless drill if you have a half decent eye. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Ah schoolboy error of course i know where the galley is from the end plugs!

if you look at either end of the block there is the oil gallery core plugs you can get a feel for where it is looking at them
