Planning on making a set of buttons up for the pistons on my new build. For those that have made theirs before do I need a certain grade of material ?

Cheers
Phil.

Fastest A Series Mini in the World

leeds/wakefield.

i just bought some white ptfe of flebay, and it been fine,

but they ned to be 4-5 mm thick on the end, as a thinnee outer lit may break up.

i reduce my pin length by 5-6mm then you can make thicker buttons.

What is the aim in the buttons, just a safety measure?, can they be used without mods to the gudgeon pin?
