The boring bloke who runs this place.

Berkshire

That looks fantastic.

I especially like the Pimp My Ride style 'Hey dawg, I heard you like bulkhead boxes so we put a bulkhead box on your bulkhead box'.

Looking good. Any more mods or a rebuilt of the bottom end? Cam change perhaps????

Looks good,

Techy questions - how many teeth on the speed sensors?, which type of sensor (Hall or VR)?, which EMS? and how confident are you of keeping the output sleeve bearing good enough to prevent the toothed wheel hitting the sensor?

:)

I only ask because I'm putting mine in the same place but with a much finer toothed wheel which needs smaller clearances to the sensor.

40 teath front and back, hall sensors, EMS?

The sensors are fitted so that the wheels should never touch them and hopefully never be too far away to not pick it up. Its a fine line, and it might not work.

Sensor spec is 0.3mm to 2mm for detection.

As for double box, it's been like that for years. It was easier to allow the fitment of the GT17. As I have no interior I didn't have to care about making it bigger. It's a bodge really.

Sorry, should have said which ECU rather than which EMS (too many TLAs...)

Your sensor spec is similar to mine for gap tolerance, I too wonder how reliable it will be. But 40 is a nice high teeth number - most people use only 12, I'm trying with 42 (VW/Audi ABS sensor rings). Better resolution at low speeds with more teeth.

I thought you'd probably be doing this, that or a k100 turbo.

Looking forward to seeing the progress, and improved times.

yep still 998. It has to be to keep in class, up to 1400cc with a 1.4 multiplier for forced induction (998x1.4 = <1400)
