i have a 1275 +20 over bored block (1293) im going to be boring it again.

whats the safe maximum that a block can be bored on a fast road/weekend worrior engine?

does anyone do a +30 decent turbo piston, or would i have to go to +40?

73.5mm for 1380 is the max.

Next size up is usually + 0.040

Get your machine shop to check first that you don't have one of the blocks that were sleeved (linered) at the factory.

Lots of the A plus ones were.

Rebore limits are a lot lower on the liners (or they have to be taken out completely and new ones fitted).
