I am about to rebuild my spare gearbox and have in a corner of the garage an old SC box with the cast remote. Can the gears be used in an A+ box or if not a not as old rod change and would this be stronger than the Turbo box with heli gears. Finaly is any of this makeing sence

YOu may use all the gears in an A+ box. but you'll need to use A shafts with it.
The only different part you need is the reverse gear. Make sure that your SC gearkit hasn't got a special reverse. Some do, some use the standard one.

This only applies if the box you've got is 4sync. If it's 3 sync, you're stuck with the remote housing.
