I've lost my E-clip, buying just one is a pain, I'm not even sure how you specify the size TBH, is it shaft or groove?.

Anyone got a spare, or a box of various sizes that I can steal the right one from?

Cheers

I could do with a few too so if we can find a box I'll chip in.

ok. But how do you specify an E-clip. I think it's the shaft diameter.

Massive markup on these no doubt.

Search " c/e clip " on ebay, packs of 20 posted for less than £2

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=c%2Fe+c...6.c0.m270.l1313

DIN 6799 tells you how they are sized

http://www.deepri.com/din_specifications/D...For-Shafts.html

EDIT - The guy selling packs of 20 quotes them by shaft size, not the external diameter of the clip as it first appears - he has detailed sizings that you can compare to the DIN standard to pick the right one. (end edit)

Been here before myself :)

Cheers boys. I'll look into it later, can't do ebay in work and get a bag full.

If antone wants a couple, like John, let me know. FOC.

I normally rob one off a spare door lock - i recall its the same as the one holding the internal release to the latch

Yes, the ones I got were too big for the T3 too, but they seem to fit the GT17 OK.

Being a bodger, I just squeezed them on to the T3 and they never fell off -cant use them twice tho.

I'm sure i'll have a spare one, and failing that, I have a large veriety box of internal and external metric circlips and i'd be sure that there was one in there the right size. while not the same, will erve the same purpose. I'll have a look when I get home

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
