NEW ZEALAND - moving to Australia

hey i just wanted to know im puting my air/fuel ratio gauge in and my question i need an o2 senser ?
where is this ment to sit ? as i have a hole that i have pluged up with a threded cap on my eshust housing side of my turbo. is it going to be ok there if i fit one or should it go futher down in my exhust ?

this is a wide band air/fuel ratio right ? just slightly confused about seting this up as its new to me.

That is a narrow band gauge, no use for trying to tune or monitor your engine I'm afraid.

You need a wideband lambda sensor in your exhaust, and a wideband gauge/controller to interpret the signal.

Look at innovate or AEM gauges.

It will entertain your passenger as he watches it go from lean to rich when you boot it. Depending on the tune of your engine, it might just show rich lol.

If thats what you have got then a narrowband is much better than nothing. It will indicate a weak or rich mixture, you just wont know how weak or rich it is.

how far from the turbo should it be?
