Hi, im putting coilovers on the rear of the mini, but rather than going the traditional rear beam idea im considering just putting points on the shell to hold the radius arms in situe.

You will need to make either very long brackets which will make them flimsy unless they weigh a ton, or extend your radius arms to get the wheel in the centre of the arch.....

i was going to make a way of tying them into the floor at the same time. the extra dimension mnight make it a little more sturdy i thought. I see what you mean though, the subframe adds a fair distance from pin the heelboard David. |

You could do it with tubular radious arms, re inforced, they may weigh abot more but still lighter than a beams ect Drives

Have a look through miniminor63's build thread. Tubular trailing arms fixed direct to the shell, with paropriate strengthening tied into the cage, fully adjustable toe and camber. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:
