Hi all

Just stripped my engine and got be thinking about the spec of the new engine.
How do you determine what cylinder head spec is needed for new build (porting-valve size etc )

What will the the shop(porter) need to now about the engine

Any help would be great

I would personally get a benross head, he knows what works and does a cracking head.

I've got a turbo phil head & was very impressed of the quality of work & the fact you could just get the chambers opened to lower the comp to run more boost which is all I have done for starters

The 4 stroke performance tuning book has all the equations to work out valve size and port size in relation to eachother....
But if your planning on buying one as the other said :)
