i am just in the prosses of putting a removable front end on my mini.
i know it isa very common thing to do but have yet to se a mini with the arch in 1 peace without cutting it in half. so has any body seen a mini or could tell me how to go about keeping the arch in one peace but leaving the a panel connected toth car? thanks

It depends what arches you want to use, ive seen it done with grp 5 and 7 arches, using captive nuts in the a panel then just undo the bolts and the arch comes with the front end.

one day boost will be mine!

I'm about to do exactly this this week with carbon miglia arches as I cant bring myself to cut them in half!

I'll be bonding L brackets to the arch as normal and the 2 brackets that go through the A panel will have wing nuts on the back so you can easily reach under and undo them, there will be enough flex in the front and arch to pull it out of the way when flipping the front.

im either going to buy the mc clean bros arches or miglia style.. thanks this has helped me alot :)

Mine is like this,the only thing you have to watch is scraping the arches on the a-panel brackets when you put the front back on.

you simply have to fit/ remove the arch after the front end is mounted up; captive nuts would be best. I'd only go this route if you have a separate bonnet though as it won't be a quick access
