i am just in the prosses of putting a removable front end on my mini.

It depends what arches you want to use, ive seen it done with grp 5 and 7 arches, using captive nuts in the a panel then just undo the bolts and the arch comes with the front end. one day boost will be mine!

I'm about to do exactly this this week with carbon miglia arches as I cant bring myself to cut them in half!

Mine is like this,the only thing you have to watch is scraping the arches on the a-panel brackets when you put the front back on.

you simply have to fit/ remove the arch after the front end is mounted up; captive nuts would be best. I'd only go this route if you have a separate bonnet though as it won't be a quick access |
