if no one knows where i can buy them then il email cobra and see what they say 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

my skills dont go well with moulds haha. However i have a carbon roof and it wuld look amazing with my red seat 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

its quite easy, its just a time consuming thing. if you had the part you could make mould off that, for the mould all you would need is some gelcoat (tooling gelcoat is better but not needed for light use) and some fibrerglass and resin, catalyst some releasing wax etc, just a case of sanding polishing and getting it perfect, the better the mould the better the product. we do alot of grp at work alongside the carpentey so do this sort of thing now and then. but one mould would suit making it from both carbon and fiberglass, in this case tho fibreglass ones aint worth it. im sure you could do it if you fancied On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:

If he had the part to make the mould, he wouldn't need to make new ones? Although the carbon might look nice. Turbo parts collector at the moment, almost ready. |

I needed some when i had mine retrimed. Just rang Cobra told them they broken, got a set for both seats free. Not ever a postage charge. |
