Heh - just pulled a V12 HE from a Jag XJS, (complete with rear axle, front axles etc + transmission - engine and transmission recon'd 15000 miles ago) and am opening the floor to whatever mad suggestions you have! (Dax Tojeiro is the real answer.. honest... errr..)

Go for it - its friday and need some comedy...

A big skip.
Keep the Jag IRS, but the rest is pretty useless. So what happened to the rest of the jag?

I'd have left the front and rear in, gutted the interior, fitted a 2.8 ford engine and tranny, and gone racing!

Put it on Ebay and watch some CHAV try and put it in a Saxo or Nova.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

*Grin* Keep 'em coming...
The rest of the jag go eaten by the tin worm - and the interior rotted - mind you the XJS seats are of the some size as a mini's (with a different mounting system)...
Currently the front grille is my letter rack.

V12 in a mini saloon? its wider than a mini just manifold to manifold...

The Jag V12 is a good engine, it revs its nuts off. A "sprinted" (like a minisprint) VW camper would be pretty rude. I reckon an old Capri would be quite fat. Big engine bay as well. Citroen BX estate with it buttoned up to a Renault transaxle. National trust stickers and a jesus fish. Cover it up with a tartan blanket, then go and find some kevs to waste. I would find an old Jet Drive and make a silly jet boat. My mate has just been given a Seaking helicopter engine (1665Hp) but the cheapest gearbox we can find is 900. Also, what axle will hack that sort of power? Bloody silly.

Bugger off, I'm getting there.
