I'm going to buy a rear beam a coil overs for the rear, mostly for weight reasons.

I just wanted opinions from people that have tryed either on what they think of them, and also whether standard or lowered is prefered on a track/weekend type car.

Protech are only £35 more expenive so theres not much price difference.

:)

Protech are very good quality, and very helpful. Mine with spring weight 1.5kg each.

I took a broken protech shock off a tvr and took it down to there unit, they fixed it there and then foc even though it was a good few years out of warrentee, there cust service is simply superb, the engineers there are ex avo or leda iirc

we were talking a while back about a group buy, i may be willing to sort this out IF theres enough interest

Changed my Gaz for Protec. Protec are lots lighter other than that theres not much in it really.
The owner of Protec used to co own Gaz but the partner pissed him off so he went alone

I seriously doubt it!

Love the quality of my protech front coilovers, looking for some rear low or extra low coilovers now, tbh seeing the prices of spax atm and gaz they seem to be cheaper, emailed them a few weeks ago on a sunday eve and had a reply monday morning. They seem to be taking over the kit car sceen as well alot of them run thwm as well as zcars recomwnd them too.

Thanks all for your input, Protech does sound like a bit of a no brainer now, and wolfie i'm in for the group buy if you can get enough interest.

Cheers, George.
