how fast can mini's really go, with some basic mods to the engine. also what mods are best value for there money.

My old 1275 mg metro engined mini with 3 branch cooper style manifold, play mini centre section, rc40 back box with not much baffel, hiff 44 with a stub stack would keep side by side with a 106xs to 60 topped out at 104mph and 110 down hill.
