that's a pity, it was a very useful resource for finding paint codes with the pictures...

anyone knows a similar good site like this?

I thought that it went to minifinity, but I can't find it there. I could do with it too.

but that doesn't bring the site back we can however write him to get all the data from the old site and host i ourselves...

in other words, who has some webspace available to host this treasure chest of mini information...

i'll happily host it if someone can get all the data.

if not i can easily knock up a site from scratch that lets people upload their own colours and pictures which should help get lots of data built up quickly.

It's easy to get the materials.

They "record" the internet then archive it.
Tried a few links and they seem to all be there.

Well here it is, sorry it took so long.

I have designed it around the idea of owner contributions to get people to upload pictures of their cars into each paint code section, colours always look different in different lights so the more images of the same colour the better.

I still want to add a bit more functionality to the site to allow people to 'disput' the information and correct me on any data that I have put in, I have manually entered all 185 paint codes so far so there is plenty of room for human error and I will more than welcome corrections.

Users can also add new paint codes as I am certain there are plenty missing ones, but all in all I hope you will agree its a good starting block for what could become an invaluable resource.

That is fantastic, excellent work. Now all I need to do is get the paint code for my car and add a picture.

thanks Ben

hope to make a few more tweaks today to make adding pictures easier, rather than going to the 'contribute' page I want people to be able to add pictures from a paint code page.

will also build a search page in the next evening or two.
