I have just bought a mini shorty and it came with a metro turbo engine in it, was working fine until yesterday.

now when you press the accelerator the engine just boggs down and wont rev up, ive checked for any cracks in the pipes ect and found nothing.

any advice would be great cheers.

no, its just almost dies, when you let off the accelerator its idles fine again.

it does help a bit when the choke is out, but give it anymore than choke and it bogs down again.

there is not boost gauge.

Sorry bud should've said, dashpot oil, if it's too thin could have no effect and the needle would just raise causing the engine to overfuel making it bog down when throttling up

yeh been thinking that would be an issue, just strange its happened when it was working the day before. then again the engine did run hot and maybe its just free'd itself up. ill give it a go tomoz, ill try with some good old 20*50

Its too lean, if you don't want to touch the mix screw, just count the number of turns, then turn the same amount back. If it makes no difference
