I've ruined 3 dremels now. Been using them for light body work - mainly cutting steel with the small cutting disks. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

You'll be here till the next millenium trying to do any decent amount of work on a head with a dremel. |

Dremels cant be used for anything other than 'light' work. You need a die grinder I seriously doubt it! |

I always assumed that head grinding was done with air-tools. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

Air die grinder.. I bought a cheap one years ago. It's the most versatile tool I have. When I finish with 1mm cutting discs in my angle grinder I use them in my die grinder and get the same ammount of work out of them again That mini is determined to Kill me!!!! |

Axeminster power tools do a good die grinder for £20 but the stones that come with it are shit, buy some separate 60 grit stones and your laughing :) just take your time if never done it before and you will be fine Gaball said:
