After finding a crack in my old one in welding up another one which will be powdercoated, I'm thinking of blue, the sort of blue med have on there engine not baby blue but not dark like a pastel colour. But can't picture whether itl be tacky or nice looking, brackets and breaters etc ate all gunmetal engines red with as many mostly new bit all over, an if there not new there refurbed. So will it look tacky or not?

Black for subframes. But saying that mine has a black engine block, a black head, black hoses, black headlining, black roll cage, black door cards, black seats.... black ecu... black inlet manifold... |

I agree, black is the only colour for sbframes. Any other colour just draws attention to them, and they are not pretty. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Unless its a religious subframe black, if it is holey then silver or black, not a fan of coloured subbys as they get dirty quick and looks abit tacky Drives

gun metal...got a rally car at work thats had the subby powder coated gun metal grey and it looks quite smart, even consider it myself had i not got more important stuff to spend the money on

My car is gunmetal grey so... Probs not the best bet. And the ancs are all grey, I see the general consensus then. :p cheers for your opinions it definitly food for thought. Don't want a tack mobile. my subframes are bright yellow, not the best choice of colours but hey ho i got ripped of by the rather catchy song aswell :( Yes i moved to the darkside |
