After doing some sums, I've worked out I can get my compression down to around 9.1:1 with a 28cc chamber head.

With megajolt, a ford intercooler what sort of boost should I be able to run?

I was hoping for 10psi, and after a bit of reading, that looks to be fine. What would you say is a max?

Turbo parts collector at the moment, almost ready.

With an efficient intercooler, good timing and fuelling 15psi should be possible. However I would prob personally go no higher than 12psi.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Thanks for that. I'll probably stick to around 10 psi then.

Wintersurfer is on the same CR. 10psi makes around 150-160 nanas with his setup.

Nice to know others are making good hp above them too.

I'll be trying k-head, 15psi and about 7500rpm next year

Sorry, I might have been a bit misleading. He's using STD metro turbo pistons. It's just the CR that I was referring to.

Although I believe Joe was using them on his 7 porter.

Yep, I used them dished out to 17.4cc,

they are pretty sturdy.
