Hello.

Just wanting to know if its possible to convert my wet subframe to run coilovers? Im guessing I remove the hydro bits and weld on the bracket to mount the coilovers on.

Regards

Adrian ( currently in sunny spain :) )

Not very sunny swanage

the subframes wont need modifying at all, the top mount at the front bolts onto the body, with the bottom mount on the top arm. (you may need a dry top arm, not sure if the wet cars had shocks??!!

At the back, again, nothing on the subframe is any different, shock mounting at the top of the wheel arch, (needs reinforcing) and the bottom mount is on the radius arm, (again, you might need dry readius arms possibly....)

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

the front top arms can be used with hi-los as it compensates for the different ratios

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!
