Hi all of you, i was wondering if i could use a shaft and compressor wheel from a GT1749V in a GT1752S?

How would this affect my boost? will it come in boost earlier, but limit sooner? or will i get delayed boost and limit sooner anyway? anyone knows? :)

No one knows? it has a smaller turbine wheel, and compressor wheel, but i could swap out the compressor wheel with one from a gt1752.

Would this work?
Or would i get an even more delay in boost?

Thx all:)

Why bother? The Gt1752 is pretty good as it is.

Agreed, nothing wrong with the GT1752.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

well, i bought one of ebay which was supposed to be good, with only minimal play in shaft, but turned out it had huge, so the turbine wheel and shaft was broken, therefore i need a new one. And i found a rebuild kit on ebay for just about 100£ with compressor wheel, all bearings, turbine shaft etc, but this was for the 1749V. That's why i was wondering if i could just swap these out :)

You cant just swap them, you need the housings to match the compressor and turbine, in which case you may as well just use the whole VNT turbo.

the 49 is quite a bit smaller than the 52, I'd say it will top out about 150 hp
