Went to scrappy today and found a pre verto clutch assy on a 1275 a+ allegro,is this standerd or has someone put the wrong wok on??

some of the early allegro had them , also they had nice diff ratio in them 4.1 and 3.9 if i remember. Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

Yes some early allegros definately had 3.9:1 diffs in.

Forgot to mention it was an estate-so is it worth having the whole lot out,The engine has loads of bits missing and looks pretty sorry

Depends what you want from it?? If the engine and box is cheap enough its a good source of 'early' type clutch parts, and the CWP will be worth reasonable money as it is low ratio.

Gave up on that one but got a recon pre verto flyweel assy of minifiniti,got the allegro top engine mounts as they look mega beefy and bolt onto head studs
