If any of you have not completely stripped back the original underseal/ stonechip, and think your car is solid with no rot, think again. Take my advice and strip it right back to the metal on the entire underside, repair all the holes and then apply 2.5 liters red oxide, 2 liters seam sealer, 3 liters stone chip andwith coats of Dinitrol! At last, today I think I have got to the very last hole that needs repaired. That will be another weekend gone before I can start to apply the stone chip and paint. Still got two doors to reskin. I have however, been attacking the the boot lid inner skin with hole saws inbetween the showers. the weight saved for the effort in my opinion is not worth the effort put in! I could have drilled more, but I wanted the rigidity. Looks cool but that is about it. Also spent an hour or so making the boot hinges into quick release hinges, as i'm fucked off having to unscrew the boot lid to gain propper access. Its the stupid little things that I have been trying to get done for the last 5 years, lol, so bollox to it, i'll do them now  2011 is going to be my year, without any rush to do anything or go anywhere
Im at the fucked off stage with it, but, im doing my best not to let that make me rush to get it back on the road! So far i've been a good boy, and started on stuff I was considering leaving, such as completely stipping back the underside, and I deffo need to re paint the car now not next year
