Hello to all, well i will give you a brief history abotu me, i have had many Mini's over the years but none of them have had a turbo,last year i bought 1275 equinox for a birthday treat to myself but found it was so slow and way to nice so i sold it, i love all classic cars and have had some very nice cars over the years, some have even won show's, but the ones that have been nice i have always been worried about where i park them etc, so i kept my eyes peeled on a popular auction site for something thats a bit more me, i found a Mini in Wolverhapton with a £900 buy it now price, the auction had only been running for 12 minutes and with the spec it had i hit the buy it now button and it was mine, when i had got it home i found out that it had way more tric bits on it than the owner had listed so for once i was happy buying blind, it's i flip front Mini 30 with a 1275, 13" minilights, high lows, spax front shocks, solid tower mounts and all the suspension goodies you would want, the body is solid and had been in dry storage for the last five years, so my intentions are to get it on the road and then sort out the engine part in the near future, i was lucky to be in my friends scrap yard the other day when a Metro drove in on its last journey, the owner had smashed the front and was scrapping it, the car was otherwise in very sound condition with no rust at all, so i had a look at the speedo and it said 27,000 miles on the clock, so i struck a deal and the engine was mine, so what i am thinking is to find the parts i need to convert it to turbo spec engine and have some fun with the car, so thats it for now, over time if i can get it all together with some help from here and hope to make some new friends on the way with like minded people, cheers Rusty |

Hello Ben H, well i have been on many forums over the years and never given such an introduction before, just thought i should do it right for once and give you all a little detail, anyway thanks for the reply.
