Welder, some uj's and a lot of mocking up, swearing, starting again and eventual success.

I had to move the handbrake lever back. That then posed the problem of the need for a shorter cable. I then adopted the solution from a friend, of using a rigid rod instead.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

i just bent my handbrake to one side :) , but you will have to learn a new way of releasing the hand brake as you will graze all the skin of your hand otherwise.

Is that just a little bracket to lift the front of the handbrake up simon?

Easy yes, but I questioned the reduction in lever action. I settled on moving the whole lot *happy*

I've made my own, as my gear turret is higher and a little bit further back that where the kit put it.

Its a fair amount of work though, lots of machining and threading of UJ's and steel rod.

Highly satisfying once its done, i just need someone to tig a couple of bits of ally and a 1/2" bearing onto my remote housing and it'll be done.

I also had to move my handbrake back about 12", should all work ok :)

Internal gear linkage and tower,
£140

This internal gearstick setup uses a lightweight ally tower that lifts the gear stick higher into a more easy to reach position, another benefit is that the origional stick can be shortened to suit individual requirements and as a result acheives a shorter throw for the user,

Utilizes a single length adjuster on one end for fine tuning , coupled with precision UJ's held in place by grub screws ,

the origional gearstick housing simply bolts on using the thread s that hold the base plate in position , [ longer bolts supplied ],

comes supplied with all nuts bolts and grubs needed to fit,

Easy to fit, no welding on of brackets, simply bolts to the side of the tunner on later cars
