done a search but no real answer , apart from engine number is there any other ways to ID a turbo block/gearbox ?. i have been offered an engine and the engine number comes back as a turbo lump . are they worth any more than a std 1275 or should i just consider it as worth the same as a used/worn out 1275 na unit ?

Gobshite that posts wank videos.

Somerset, UK

they are generaly considered to be worth a bit more especialy if it includes the turbo and the hif44 ect.
i would expect to pay £350 or £500 on eScamz (eBay)

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

in short ........ also you need to look on top of the valve stems on the exhausts these are bigger diameter than the inlets they are sodium filled exhaust valves

all the turbo blocks A + are the same
the first miotion shaft support bearing is slightley larger, but that is no detriment at all
