I'm not sure but rest assured anything from med will be expensive, although most there stuff is exceptional quality. If these are the same however I can't see a reason to justify the extra price.

its well known and "well proven" that a normall steel backed pump is well up to the job, around £12 from minispares north

as ben said the steel backed pumps are very goos and well upto the job, only realy need a high capacity pump if using squirters even then i think the stell backed normal pump ist still big enough

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

The 'turbo' oil pump is around 25 quid. 9 gall per minute as opposed to 6. I bought one for my build just for the sake of it tbh, even if its overkill it cant do any harm :)
