Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

Can anyone let me know roughly what the stroke it on one of these type brake master cylinders?

I seem to only have about 1/2 the brake pedal travel before I hit a very definite mechanical "stop" way before any decent brake pressure is applied built up. I've bled the brakes from empty (having changed from a servo set up) and then re-bled. There's no air in there as far as I can tell now but the pedal is still very soft up until going what I can only imagine is the full stroke of the master cylinder piston.

If it makes any difference, running Metro Turbo vented 4-pots at the front, standard drums at the back. Can only think of tweaking the adjuster on the rear shoes to try and reduce the amount of travel required back there, but the handbrake is OK so no reason to think that might be the fault at the moment.

Cheers,

Dave.
