hey lads and lassys, my name is dave and im in rep of ireland, i've been driving mini's years now and am currently driving a 998 cooper look-a-like daily. i also have a project for which i am gathering parts for a turbo motor, should be fun, but i hope the search button will answer all my questions*smiley*

i'll try get pic's up but in the mean time just thought i'd say hi*happy*

thats the one i'm driving at the moment




and the project, still needs some panels replaced but getting there, the finish will have a mk1 look, steel flipfront theme but with the grunt of a 1380 turbo so hopefully i should get good results out of it. this is also my 1st full engine build so should be interesting...
the parts i have so far are,
morespeed stage4 booster head
1380 block... getting it in a week or two
turbo hif/manifolds/plenum
t3 turbo.... which i might change for a gt
have a kent 286 cam there, not sure if its much use but i'll search and if not i'll change it for an avonbar cam
cam6232 crank
apart from that i will search for recomendations made for the other parts i need and compression needed to get the short block built and a build thread going*happy*

had it running but was a bit smokey, so i changed the turbo to a ct9 from a gt starlet. just waitiong on my downpipe to be finished then i'll throw up some pics and a video here and on imoc.

hey baldwin thanks mate, bought her like that around last august, she needed a new rear subby and i put halogen headlights, clear side repeaters and jewel rear lenses on her. can see a bit of rust surfacing where she was only sprayed over instead of treating it but sure hey she'll be a project at some stage haha
