I just finished cutting a hole for my bulkhead box, and i was wandering if anyone knows the thickness of the metal used in the existing bulkhead!?

I was thinking of being clever/cheap and recycling the metal to repair behind my shock mounts. I understand that behind the shock mounts it's made up of 2 thin layers, so i was going to replace it with one thick piece... if the bulkhead metal will equate to the same thickness?

thanks :)

Sheet metal (metal in general) is very cheap and available on ebay in all kinds of thickness/size combinations. In this case - don't recycle.
