Here is my mini...front end and bonet is from fiberglass (homemade). I'll post some more pics of egine bay later. Engine is 1312 turbo, CR 8:1, piper phase III cam, ported head with 33/32 mm valves, T3 turbo, pug 405 td intercooler and boost from 0.7 to 0.9 bar . All that was rather hard to get here in Croatia, but I've managed somehow...Now I am working on programable injection (tbi) and ignition system with diy ecu...I'll let you know how it went...*smiley*

Thanks guys,

I don't know abot the power since here in my town there's no single dyno, or rolling road..*frown*. My best 1/4 mile time is 14.8 on 3.44 diff and rather bad engine setup (17? ignition advance and 0.9 bar boost). I've seen that some guys are running 1 bar boost on 28? advance. Another problem is when I try to rise boost above 0.9 bar engine starts to misfire, not pink. I think that ignition system is not up to task, so now I am trying to customise Ford EDIS system to go along together with my injection system on same ECU. In the end I think that now we are talking about 130-140 bhp with more to come...*smiley*

Tonci,
That is really smart - one of the best - especially considering that you've had such a task to get it to this stage compared to us lucky UK fellas!!!

Well done,
Dave

Hello !

Very nice and impressive Mini, congratulations for this beautiful car.

Are you from Zagreb or near Zagreb ?

This question may look stupid but I think that there are not a lot of Minis in Croatia, and in 1997 on the way back to France after a student travel in Bulgaria,by night when I was in the bus and looking at the window I saw a Mini (on 10" wheels) making a hard acceleration and pass the bus easily.

What a surprise for me to find such a car in this place, where cars where all the same (or near the same) and from an unknown brand for me.Maybe this car was yours or of a friend of you.

Good work with your programable injection system !

Hello guys I'm from France and since my 18th birtday I 'm dreaming of a turbo engine in my Mini. I'm here to do it !

No I'm from Split, it is the city on the sea, but I've been in Zagreb with my mini couple of times. There are not a lot of Minis in Croatia, that is true, and I know most of the owners, including the owners from Zagreb, and I don't know any owner of green Mini faster than rover 1.3i in Zagreb. In 1997 I was 18 and I've put first turbo engine in my mini when I was 19 so that couldn't be me. Those same cars that you are talking about were probably Yugos, our yugoslavian heritage.

regards,
Tonci
