hey guys just wondering who drives there turbo mini everyday & what BHP you are running.

my mate has now set up his turbo mini & it's doing 105 t the wheels at 5 psi i think running a ph2 cam.

very nice original Metro turbo Engine rebuilt, pulls so hard it's either T25 or a T2, he wanted to know if it's reliable enough to to drive everyday.

yes all set up & tuned properly, he has done most work his self.

it's very impressive power makes me want a turbo mini now, ill wait till i try my sc12 powered car to compare.

he is not a member on here but i have told him he must join :)

Robert is a clinically insane wizard Nick. This is how he gets such good power!

105 at the wheel at 5psi is maybe a little optermistic, but whatever it is at 5psi It's likely to be perfect for everyday motoring.

I use my 998 every day for commuting and run 12psi, it' sfine.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I use mine on a constand 15psi, don't see the point of having different amounts of boost for different occasions, 99% of the time I don't use all 15psi, but its nice to have it there when you need it *wink* I don't use mine as my daily driver, but it gets used 4-5 times a week.

I intend to run most of the time on 8psi estimated 150hp, with 15psi for those special occasions estimated 200hp. I know my gearbox is the weak link, so will have to be real gentle. Hard as that might be *happy*

All out power is not everything, but it sure is interesting, more so on the road *hehe!*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

The metro van drove best on about 10-12psi. It was fast, but it was really nice to drive. I'd guess 120ish bhp
